St. Alexander's (Oleksandrivsky) Polish Roman-Catholic Church was built in 1817-1842. It was in the honour of Emperor Alexander I, and commemorated the victory of Napoleon in the Patriotic War of 1812. Previously this location was the site of the Dominican Roman-Catholic Church.
